Video-on-Demand (VOD) services are essential for delivering content that is accessible on your viewers' own schedules. MK.IO's transformation features provide the tools to tailor and optimize your VOD content, ensuring a high-quality, personalized viewing experience. Here's how to configure VOD transformations in MK.IO.

Create transform for video processing

1. Log in to MK.IO and select a subscription.

2. Navigate to Video Processing from the left-hand side menu.

3. Look for the Transform tab.

4. Start a new transform using the Create Transform button. You’ll be prompted to specify the details of this transform.

   

5. Give your live event a name (required) and write a brief event description (optional).

6. Select the transform type in the list

MK.IO only supports encoding transformations. Other types of transformations will launch soon.

7. Select the desired preset from the list
8. Select the Submit button to confirm the creation of the transform.

Executing the transformation

Once the transform is created, you can create a job and execute the transformation on the selected asset.
